Fashion Inspiration: Michael Kors Resort

Michael Kors has always been one of our favourite designers, known for his bright use of colour, especially when it comes to creating the ideal body-con dress. These pictures, courtesy of Vogue, show off his latest resort collection, and ever since we had serious green envy over the electric blue body con dress worn by Blake Lively at this year's MTV Movie Awards, we can't wait to see what else is in store!

Fashion Inspiration: Philip Lim Resort

The advantages of running a store are amazing. Today we managed to look through some recent pictures of going to view the Moschino and Alexander McQueen showrooms, and all the beautiful pieces they had on display, [not to mention the most delectable cupcakes!!] many of which we bought and should be arriving in the store soon in time for next season Autumn and Winter.
Most of the designers we sell show their pieces to prospective buyers, and whilst we can't get to feature ALL of our favourite designers in the store, we remain happy and passionate about the ones we do.
Philip Lim is one of our favourite designers, and although we don't feature his designs and collections in the store, one of our favourite bloggers got invited along to a special showcase to take a look at his new resort line, and the clothes looked so amazing we couldn't resist displaying them on here. Philip Lim does sophisticated silhouettes and seperates, which makes him stand out from the crowd, especially during the spring and summer seasons. We'll be featuring similar colours to this around the store through different brands and pieces - lots of rich, vibrant colours like Orange, Coral, Pinks and Cobalt/Electric Blues. Our Sale Season has officially started... and we couldn't be happier! Today is the second day, and the store [as expected] has been SO busy, with dresses selling left, right and centre! The dresses we have on sale at the moment include those from Diane Von Furstenberg and lovely day dresses from Marilyn Moore, who is known for using lots of cashmere and vintage silk in vibrant pretty prints that make perfect outfits this summer season!!
